Register now and join the ICCFR International Conference, taking place from 14th to 16th November 2024 at the Urban Valley Hotel & Spa, Malta. This year’s conference led by ICCFR will explore the theme “Intergenerational Perspectives in Families – Challenges and Opportunities” delving into the dynamic interplay between generations within the family unit.

Who are the Keynote speakers?

Thursday, 14 November 2024:
Arlene Healey – A registered systemic psychotherapist with over 40 years of experience working with children and families in the NHS, UK. Her topic, “Intergenerational Trauma: The Many Consequences for Families, Past, Present, and Future,” will provide invaluable insights into the impact of trauma across generations.

Friday, 15 November 2024:
Dr Louise Edgington – A chartered Educational Psychologist with expertise in climate psychology and education. Dr Edgington will discuss “Intergenerational Engagement for Climate Change Resilience and Mitigation,” highlighting the crucial role of family dynamics in addressing climate challenges.

Saturday, 16 November 2024:
Dr Claire Casha – An academic with extensive clinical experience in systemic family therapy, currently lecturing at the University of Malta. Her presentation, “Like Father, Like Son? A Relational Ethics Perspective of Narratives of Fathering Across Generations,” will explore the intricate narratives of fatherhood across different generations.
