The Stockholm University Demography Unit (SUDA) is home to the only comprehensive program of demographic training in Sweden and a site for cutting-edge demographic research. As part of the Department of Sociology at Stockholm University, SUDA offers training in demography through individual courses, multidisciplinary one- and two-year master’s degrees, and a doctoral degree in sociological demography. These programs are well-connected to other leading research schools throughout the world and prepare students for careers in academia, public service, and the private sector. Master's application deadlines

Our Master's Programme in Demography only has one admission round for students to begin in the fall semester. The deadline to begin in the 2021 fall semester is 15 January 2021.

PhD's application deadlines

  • If resources permit, application openings can appear as a maximum twice a year - in February with March 1 as final date and/or in September with October 1 as final date to apply.
