News: 'Dear Pandemic' Shares COVID-19 Content From an All-Female Group of Researchers

Led by an all-female group of researchers across continents, Dear Pandemic is a new website and social media campaign where you can stay updated on factual information related to COVID-19. Their mission is to educate and empower individuals to successfully navigate the COVID-19 information overwhelm. They provide credible, curated, and timely information about the pandemic, with digestible question-and-answer posts ranging from "I heard that mouthwash kills the coronavirus! How often should I gargle?" to "What are the 3 S’s of hospital capacity?"

The interdisciplinary team of researchers and clinicians come from fields of expertise including nursing, mental health, demography, health policy/economics, and epidemiology. Jennifer Beam Dowd of the Oxford Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science is Dear Pandemic's Chief Scientific Officer.
