Mapineq Link Webinar Series - Visualising Inequalities at the Local Level

This three-part lunchtime event is happening from 9 to 11 December, 13:00 to 14:00 CET.

We are thrilled to invite you to the Mapineq Link Webinar Series, a three-part lunchtime event from 9-11 December designed to introduce you to Mapineq Link - a new, interactive geospatial tool for visualising population and inequality indicators at the local level.

Professor Melinda Mills and Dr Douglas Leasure will lead this series, showcasing the platform’s innovative features and providing practical insights tailored for journalists, policymakers, researchers, civil society, and data experts. Join us to explore how local data can transform perspectives on inequality and inform impactful decisions.

Day 1: Introduction to the Mapineq Link and Stories Behind the Data
Date: 09 December 2024, 13:00 – 14:00 CET
Discover the structure and scope of Mapineq Link, followed by an in-depth look at selected case studies.

Day 2: Navigating the Mapineq Link Dashboard & Accessing Data
Date: 10 December 2024, 13:00 – 14:00 CET
Learn how to navigate the platform's dashboard, download datasets, and examine case studies that align with your interests.

Day 3: API Technical Walkthrough
Date: 11 December 2024, 13:00 – 14:00 CET
Participate in the technical exploration of the API, and uncover ways to integrate Mapineq data into your own systems for deeper analysis. 

 

Each session will offer expert insights, interactive Q&A, and showcase how this new tool can support your work. We also invite your ideas for collaboration to enhance our current infrastructure!
