Even Post-Brexit, EU Migrants Are Likely to Stay in the UK
With the Brexit underway, EU migrants in the UK will soon have to make their own decisions about whether to leave or remain in the country under an alternative legal status to the one they previously held. In an environment of uncertainty, with several concrete and yet uncharted options, EU nationals are largely choosing the latter. Curiously, it’s the uncertainty surrounding their future rights to stay which leads them to having more concrete plans.

Books and Reports: Cooperation In Integrating Immigrants (EESC Opinion)
In the near future, Europe will become more diverse due to mobility of its citizens as well as due to an increase in immigration from Non-EU Countries. This presents a challenge at local and regional level which should be tackled in close cooperation between authorities and civil society organisations, says a report by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC). Under the headline “Cooperation in integrating immigrants” it lists recommendations concerning the legal framework as well as the more complex process of social inclusion.
