The EAPS Working Group on Child and Adolescent Development is organizing a Masterclass on “Families and Child Development and Well-being” for early-career scholars in Edinburgh on the afternoon of June 12th, 2024, before the European Population Conference.
The Masterclass will be opened by a keynote presentation by Dr Afshin Zilanawala (University of Southampton), followed by up to 6 selected early career scholars, who will have the chance to present they work and receive feedback from the members of the EAPS working group. The meeting will end with an informal networking time with refreshments.
PhD students or researchers who have received their PhD no more than 7 years ago are eligible (although individual cases can be evaluated in relation to, for example, career breaks such as maternity leave).
To apply, please submit your extended abstract (2-4 pages), together with a short statement of eligibility to email@example.com, by March 1st, 2024. Scholars will be informed about the selection outcomes by March 11th, 2024, and participants will be asked to share a draft paper by May 29, 2024.
